SimpleTap works on any device with a modern browser - desktop, tablet, or phone. For printing, any ESC/POS compatible thermal printer will work. You can also use dual displays for customer-facing screens. Dedicated iOS and Android apps are also available.
Absolutely. SimpleTap supports multi-tax configurations per region, including VAT, sales tax, and custom tax types with flexible rate settings.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices including secure authentication, session management, and regular backups.
Each team member gets their own login with role-based permissions. Owners can assign Manager or Staff roles, each with tailored access levels to match their responsibilities.
In-person card payments are processed through Stripe Terminal. Standard Stripe processing fees apply per transaction, varying by region and card type. An additional SimpleTap platform fee of 0.42% applies per transaction. Lower platform fees can be discussed for higher volumes. You can also configure alternative payment processors with a one-time setup fee.
